And I'm saying that I don't think Bo Pelini had much to do with the fact that LSU had a very potent offense in 2007...and for the record, I'm a Bo P fan.

I never said he had anything to do with the offense, i was making the point that they played hard for Bo,
we dont look like were putting to much effort in of late.

All i was trying to say was that the players looked at Bo more as the head coach than Miles. And since he has left we havent done so hot.

Man your just thick. Take some time and think now. I dont know if you have ever played sports but when you have a coach that u dont like or worse dont respect you can tend not to play arse hard. They have no leadership. Im not saying that every player is like that but the team just looks lost out there.

so Bo engineered one of the most potent LSU offenses in its history...wow, he was good.

on the other hand, many fans will tell you we won in spite of Bo.

No smart arse they played with heart bc of Bo, they liked and respected him. Now they just look like there going through the motions out there. Watch C Black he looks like he could care less out there.

Im with u but like ive said on here before, most of the players say Miles just doesnt have a presence in the locker room. That the last NC was really because of BO P. Not Miles!

Thats what happens when u play for a coach that u dont respect or care for.

Same here, he is just going through the motions. No heart

still appreciate the NC he brought us, but apparently few else do

That had more to do with Bo P. than it did Miles, ask any player who was there for it.

Was also at the game and saw pretty much what i expected. Good player but dont ever think he will be a starter. And one more thing, i was with him at a bbq a few weeks ago and he is 6'2 if lucky. If i had to guess i would say 6'1 220 max. Like i said before he is a good player but will only be a special teamer imho.

re: Les Miles really scares me

I hope last nite was a fluke but Les is starting to prove something i was told by current and former players. That majority of payers were loyal to Pelini, that he had the most to do with them winning the championship. That Miles just doesnt have a presence in the locker room. Diff showed last year once Pelini was gone.

We looked sad

For one what the hell is up with us playing zone the whole time when we have the talent to man up? The offensive play calling wasnt worth a shite for the most part imho, we have tons of talent, use it. And last we do a terrible job of using our speed guys. Yea great TH is the fastest guy on the field but he aint worth a dame if he never touches the ball, and he only gets in a hanful of plays so they know to key on him when he is in. Maybe we should take some lessons from FL who imho do the best job of using there speed.

I thought it had to be made before season started because redshirts can not play in games if they are redshirted that season?

Is there a certain date that you have to declare your redshirts, I would have to think we would have a good bit this year.

re: Michael Mauti

Posted by BM6029ww on 8/17/09 at 10:58 pm to
I guess u werent joking then. So like i told u nicely earlier, your an idiot. First of all Ace never played LB, he was hurt his whole jr year. Played saftey his SR year. Yes Ace was very good, prop would have started at a school like ARK or AUB. Diff at Tulane where he was going to start as a Soph. But to say he has and will have a better career is retared. Ace has never even started a game at LSU. MM got alot of playing time as a Fresh. More than Ace has his whole career.

Who will get one, who should get one. Mingo, Ford, the 2 DL and Chris Garret are the ones I know of, any others?

Well thats good to hear i thought he was done. Would have been a crappy way to have your career end.

Yes he played at Mandeville transfered after Tulane dropped major.

Ace Foyil

I thought his career was done, had heard that he tore a tendon. D Don just said that he was running with the second team. Anybody know for sure.
