It’s almost depressing in a way. No season could ever possibly match what we just saw.

I agree. Once in a lifetime. Hell most programs have never had a season like LSU 2019. Just about perfect.

Myles Brennan had 64 his sophomore year in high school. I am sure he will be up coached at LSU compared to the high school staff he had in Bay St Louis.

60td, 6int

+54

Only two other guys have ever even hit 54 TD’s in a season.

That +/- is unreal.

I love burrow, but I hope it’s the system and not the qb. Hope Brennan does well. Hell 40 touchdowns

Every day I wake up and find myself in awe of what just happened. We reached the pinnacle of it all. Enjoy for life.

Really not even 60 quarters because he sat a few fourth quarters

Someone should do a break down of actual time Burrow spent on the field, and how that 60 td number averages out over that time frame.

Whats sad is it wasn't till mid-end of November when we looked around and said WTF, these guys are really good and it's almost over.

And ran for 5.

Those were gaudy QB numbers even if Joe had been a Big-12, Pac-12 or some of those G5 teams that really don't face elite defenses all that often.

He did it in the premier defensive league of college football and against 2 of the very best DCs outside of our conference during the playoffs. Essentially, he faced the best defenses college ball had to offer (except tOSU - a team for whom he played previously, which makes it all that weirder) in 2019 and rewrote the record book.

You want a chuckle, look up LSU's Top 10 single game passing yardage leaders.

I was literally telling my father in law today that we are 100% sure that we witnessed a season that we’ll talk about literally until the day we die. 60 years from now I’ll tell my grandkids about the legend that is Joe Burrow
