Recruiting is a guessing game

Ehh, kind of. But when you focus on recruiting raw players with natural talent that need to be developed (like most of the sophomore position players) you can't blame the recruiting aspect when you don't develop them.

Willis, Dugas, and Giacomo have talent and are plenty athletic to be successful on the baseball field. It's why they were highly regarded by professional scouts. At some point they need to be coached up.

He literally said that he tries to undercoach because at allows for a players natural instincts to take over (re:talent).

This shite is what drives people insane.

Who says we focus on raw players? Don’t most play HS ball and travel ball? Don’t most have their own personal coach for lessons, etc?

Who are our raw players?
