The 35 year olds who don't think they're a millennial

We shouldn’t be considered millennials. I grew up without the internet and got my first cell phone at 17 when I started driving. I could only make calls or play brick/snake. My parents did not pay for text messages so I couldn’t do anything on it. Fast forward 8 years and everyone has an iPhone. I didn’t get my first iPhone with internet capabilities until I was 5 years out of college.

Arguing that you shouldn’t be considered a millennial is something only millennials do. Sorry.

Btw most kids born in the late 80s/early 90s will have that same experience. Maybe they got their first smartphone earlier, but the "I could only make calls and play snake on my phone when I was a kid" isn't in anyway unique to people born in the early/mid 80s

This is indicative of basically all millennials, dude.

Gen Z is generation that grew up with iPhones being the norm.

Almost all millennials got their first iPhone type phone in college or later. We all experienced the Nokia brick with snake evolve into what we have today. We all experienced dial up through fiber today.

You're describing everything that defined millennials and then saying that doesn't make you a millennial.

That is the definition of a milliennial.
