I saw Clapton a few shows after the crash at Oak Mountain in BHM, I was surprised he didn’t mention it or dedicate a song. Thought it strange.

Saw him in Houston opening up for The Who at the Astrodome in 1989. Wish I could have seen him a bunch more times.

I lived in Austin for years..knew the T-Birds...remember meeting/seeing him ..he was about 14-15..back then at the Continental Club on S Congress..back then he just Jimmy's little brother..good times..

Agreed, but anytime people are talking about SRV, it's great in my book.
My favorite of all time, and it's not even close.
I love watching SRV reaction videos and seeing people listen and watch him for the first time. Every single one of 'em is amazed.
