5 SEC Championships
20 bowl bids

Just think, we are an oklahoma st fg away from being tied with Bama with 4 national titles over that timeframe.

Doesn’t work that way though. If LSU wins the NC in 2011 Les Miles would likely still be the coach today. And I highly doubt he would have won another NC.

The 2011 loss would not have crushed the Alabama program like it did LSU. Saban is an infinitely better head coach than Les Miles. They would have continued to be extremely successful regardless of the outcome of that game.

Yes. If LSU wins 2011, Les is still coaching at LSU and there is no 2019 national championship. LSU would still have 4 national titles

Does LSU claim the 1908 championship ? That would put us at five.

bullshite. We go back to back in 12. We were 1 play away from winning the west. Were devasted by injuries when we played UF. Would have beat them in ATL and crushed Notre Dame for the title.

For the sake of comparison, could you include stats for Alabama, Ohio State & Clemson?

Also - LSU has lost fewer games than any other team in the SEC since 2000. We were easily the most consistent winning team over two decades. Lol, not that we didn’t melt more than any other fan base in the SEC.

Been a sweet 20 year ride. We're where we always should have been.

if we had won it in 2011Les probably wins it in 2012 also. Then we would never have been fired

But Clemson fans said we just showed up this year? Won't we go back to being mediocre like we have been for the past decade? It's not like we have any NFL talent left on the roster.

Also, LSU and Boise State are the only programs with at least 8 wins each season since 2000.

Again people that say that have followed football less than 10 years aren’t worth debating anyway

but LSU wouldn’t have been crushed without that loss.

then a win in 2012 (which almost happened anyway) would have given Les 3 straight over Nick and 4 out of 6.

Why would a 2011 national title automatically translate into a 2012 repeat? I think the 2012 team would’ve been about the same. The offense was not as good as it should’ve been in 2012. Passed all over Bama but still couldn’t get points or a clinching first down.
