What is the single greatest move you ever saw in the theater?

I'm sure a version of this question has been asked in the past. Please resist the urge to list multiple movies you can't choose between - I know a lot of you will be tempted. Pick the SINGLE best movie you've ever seen in the movie theater.
For me it was Pulp Fiction. I was in my 20s and was blown away, never saw anything like it before or since. So many iconic scenes and actors, the out-of-sequence interlapping stories, just incredible. Christopher Walken's "gold watch" monologue alone makes this one a classic.

That's the first thing i thought of and Goodfellas. I was in my early 20's and was blown away by both.

I give special effects and music score an extra emphasis when judging watching in a theater vs in a living room. Also anticipating a huge movie event and watching with a huge crowd has to be taken into effect.
The jump in the 90s special effects put Jurassic Park and T2 high on my list. After that Dark Knight and Inception are pretty near the top too.
Even trying to curve for nostalgia, I’m still having a hard time not putting Jurassic Park @ 1

That's actually a good pick.
I went to see a movie when I was a kid. I forget which but the movie I actually went to see fritzed out on me. So I popped in to see the color purple, not knowing at all what it was about and was blown away.

I don't know about the greatest movie I ever saw in theaters, but the biggest was certainly Titanic. You got the feeling that you were part of a cultural phenomenon that we hadn't seen since perhaps the release of the original Star Wars.

I know the movie gets a bad rep for the writing, but I’ve never experienced a better movie in a theater than ‘Interstellar’.

For more recent stuff it was the Revenent and Dunkirk... The scenery and spectacle just blows away the home experience... To the point that you don't realize any flaws.
But the absolute top of the heap is Jurrasic Park.
I'm sure it's similar to the experiences people had in the 70s with Jaws, Star Wars, and even Raiders of the Lost Ark, but I wasn't around for those.
It's amazing, though, how basically sobmant movies listed so far are by Spielberg.
Even something like the Color Purple (far from an action spectacular) resonated with people in the theaters.

Jurrasic Park.. Etc etc.
He was so influenced by Lawrence of Arabia as a kid. It was the movie that made him want to become a director... And it shows so much in his work, especially stuff in his prime.
I'd imagine if we had all seen stuff like Lawrence of Arabia or The 10 Commandments or even Wizard of Oz or Robin Hood or Gone With the Wind at the time they came out, we'd say those as well.

I wanted to say Used Cars but have to say Star Wars.
And I am not a big Star Wars fan. At all. Have only seen the first three movies.
But as a kid the start of that movie was pretty epic.
