So? One of the most memorable moments in NBA history and involved a famous non-player, no other famous non-players make this impact where it moves the national needle and his courtside attendance is a staple of the franchise and the MSG experience. It's like a homily in mass, it's essential: you cannot have a Knicks home game without Marv Albert announcing it and Spike Lee attending on the sidelines. It's like I'm talking to morons who live under rocks, it's absurd.

And he is still there. People know spike as a Knick constant. Jfc. There was a big headlines when he wore that orange sweater at a game this year.
