Arkansas' last game against Uga they looked about as helpless on defense as we have most of the conference season, of course you know they are gonna bring it to the next level trying to stay alive for the tourney, but I like our chances in a shootout.

Nonetheless if you are the man guarding Jones or Joe do not leave them for any circumstance. If Desi n Witt beat you tip the cap to them.

While LSU played better defense vs. A&M, I'd tried to watch more closely how they defended rather than just watching the ball. In doing so, you saw several occasions where they seemed to over help and double-team inside unnecessarily, thereby leaving WIDE open shooters on kick-outs. In reality, A&M shot the same % from 3 that they did in game one (40%) where they made a season high 14. They just took 12 less shots in game two.

Now, perhaps the over-help was by design in THAT game because of Nebo. But you also have seen in other games LSU wings in good position on shooters seem to unnecessarily help inside (even when an interior defender has good position) leaving a WIDE open kick out. Point being, if there is EVER an opponent this year LSU's (small) "bigs" should be able to handle one on one without constant help, Arkansas seems to be that team. It's easier said than done, but LSU can't leave shooters in this game. If that means allowing Bailey ample opportunities to go one on one with Williams/Days, so be it. There is no aspect of this LSU team that has been more frustrating than to watch guys literally run away from 3 point shooters to seemingly and unnecessarily overhelp inside.
