Most people have no clue about the definition of 'nationalist'. They believe the left's silliness that it equates 'supremacy'.
quote:

quote:

nationalist
['naSH(?)n?l?st]
NOUN
a person who strongly identifies with their own nation and vigorously supports its interests, especially to the exclusion or detriment of the interests of other nation

Yes, I put my nation's interests before ALL others. I suppose that makes me a nationalist.

It's the part after the comma that can be problematic

No, there is no problem.

I am an American. I put America and Americans first. At all costs.

Yes. I'm an American nationalist. America first.

Of course, we are the first nation to respond, anywhere in the world, when there is an earthquake, typhoon, flood, etc., with food, medical supplies, emergency shelter, what have you. So, we are as egalitarian superpower as you will find in all of human history.

So, I'm generally for that, too, as long as we take care of America first.

Imagine believing that putting the interest of your own nation over other nations is problematic.

We will only be able to respond as long as we keep America first.

Only the strong can respond to the needs of the weak in a time of crisis.

Well said.
But we have a couple of generations now that have had "GLOBAL VILLAGE" and "Citizens of the World" beaten into their minds.

There's a difference between a White Nationalist and a white nationalist (nationalist that happens to be white).

Explain the difference and provide links to definitions.

"White Nationalist" is liberal bullshite speak for not liberal or Democrat.

Do your same definitions apply to "Black Nationalist" or "Brown Nationalist"?

Anyone who doesn't put their fellow countryman ahead of foreigners is essentially a traitor and no longer a countryman.

National unity is necessary for a nation to thrive and survive. I need to be able to count on you having my back and me having your back.

There is a difference only because the left loves to hijack language.

Yes.

If you’re not and there’s some other country you prefer to put first then why are you here?

If you say I have no preference then you’re a globalist.

I think you guys might be missing the point

America first obviously. But it doesn't necessarily have to be at the detriment of other countries. Particularly our allies and trading partners. We don't live in some self sufficient utopia. We need other countries. Sometimes it's in our long term best interest for other countries to succeed as well. Not our enemies obviously but our allies and trading partners need to be healthy for us to thrive.

Nationalism taken to its logical extreme is short sighted and will have long term consequences.

Yes....I’m sure liberals would happily make that distinction if a white person publicly announced they wanted to put America first. The media wouldn’t attack them at all.
