I think I read Goff's hands are 9 inches, but I never remember a big deal being made about them. This sounds like strategically leaking by teams in order to get the Bengals to pass on him.

But in reality the NFL ball is a little bigger in circumference. So sure questions can be raised but I don't think it will change any minds. You look at his decision making speed, smarts, accuracy, and overall arm strength and he will be just fine.

It ain't the size of the hands or the strength of the arm that matters, it's the size of the dick.

Life lesson for you teenage lurkers here.

Strategic leaking? All combine info is posted online. And this isn't the first time they've talked about a QBs hand size

Goff’s contract is widely accepted as one of the nfl’s worst

Alex Smith, another 1.1 had small hands too.

I didn't realize. That my hands were that abnormally large. I'm just shirt of 5'11" and my hands are 10" 1/8. I don't think it really matters. Grip strength is probably more of a bigger deal. I know this I struggle throwing a "the Duke" NFL football. It feels like a waternelon

Didn’t Fromm come in with smaller hands? Was like a main link on ESPN.

To get into the weeds, the circumference of college footballs ranges from 20 3/4 inches to 21 1/4 inches lengthwise from end to end, versus 21 inches to 21 1/4 inches in the NFL So average college ball= 21” and avg nfl ball = 21 1/8”.

That’s a whopping 1/8” difference.

They are desperately trying to find a flaw in BDJ and they best that they could do is that he has average size hands.

I measured my hand and it's 9 inches too. I'm 5-10, so that does seem small for someone who's nearly 6-4. Not claiming it means anything about his pro potential, just an observation.

It's not a big deal but it would be better if his hands had measured 10 inches. It is just one little thing but it is still a thing

Over the past 10 years, a mere three quarterbacks with 9-inch hands have attempted more than 300 passes -- Goff, Tannehill and Chad Henne. During that span, none of them has a Total QBR above 55.
