Little brother getting married at end of March in Mexico City. I have one free day. Wife and I can’t decide between doing a bike tour through the city, or going to Teotihucacan to see ruins. Anyone have any insight on these?

I would do a combo of eating and site seeing Mexico City. Awesome city and the food is incredible. One of the culinary capitals of the world

I did this back in October, and I would definitely recommend. I'm a history guy though, so this was definitely on my list.
It's an easy Uber trip about an hour outside of the city. If you do it, I would recommend getting there before it officially opens.

If you have a free Saturday take her to check out the Bazaar Sabado in San Angel and then grab a lunch at Carlota in San Angel. Carlota is nice with a great terrace.
Bike tour would be fun, but also a little on the risky side. We decided against going to the pyramids since the time in the car would have been too great for our short timeline.

We are doing Xochimilco for the “rehearsal dinner”. Think we decided on bike tour as it includes local food spots on the route. Really looking forward to local food throughout the CDMX area.

Wedding should be lots of fun. I’ll buy you some Mezcal at one of the local speakeasies.

I'll be there too - doing both bike tour and hot air balloon Teotihucacan. Thinking about Lucha Libre too. See y'all there.

Bumping this thread because the wedding is finally happening in a couple weeks. Any new things to check out in MC?

I’ve been to Egypt several times, been to Petra, seen a number of Greek and Roman ruins in turkey. And teotihucacan was as interesting to me as any ancient site. Would highly recommend.
I just love Mexico City. On sundays the reforma is turned into a pedestrian road for biking and walking. The national museum is spectacular. Someone mentioned the sabado market which we also enjoyed.

Yeah, I think that I'd try to split the day between the Zocalo, Chapultapec, and the Anthropology museum. There's way too much to see in a day, of course.

Chapultepec and Teotihucacan if you can swing both of these that would be a great day. I haven't been in years but those were my favorite two places to go when I was there.
