They actually do once or twice a month. A few years ago their was a ridiculous rat infestation and signs of plague so they started doing it.
I know because I pass by almost every day in the morning. They clean it all out in the morning once or twice a month, bum encampment is back by noon.

I always shake my head when I see it, with the bums orderly moving out the way for the city guys to clean up around and after them, thinking these frickers have better maid service than I do.
