STOP BEING DICKS TO FAMILIES THAT FUND THIS SHITHOLE.

Correct. A lot of people will make cute comments on this thread but you are entirely correct.

Nothing but families gathered having a great time in the city.

No one is hurt. No one is bothered. Everyone has an equal opportunity to garner a spot if the choose to.

It makes no sense for the city to devote resources to this complete non problem.

I will say that no one can own public land and it's ridiculous for people to attempt to keep anyone else from standing where they want to to watch a parade.

But I've been going to the parades on St Charles for decades and everything out there runs damn near perfect.

The city is serving no one's interest with this action.

I've always been able to do this without staking a claim to a large spot of city owned real estate for a week.

I don't get why it's so hard for others.

If everyone used common sense it would be fine BUT they don’t. I saw a group last year on the St. Charles neutral ground who had six or eight ladders on the curb and then they strapped plywood to the front of the ladders forming a continuous wall so no one could walk between or under their ladders. shite like that is where regulations come from.
