That second one is pretty obvious.

I mean I can read the buzz words but what real life issue is it referencing?

Hard time seeing a conservative split happen while Ronnie Floyd is still in there.

Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or

Imagine a church focusing on silly stuff like that!
Need to focus on actual Christian concerns, such as global warming and intersectional feminism.

I assume the liberal churches will wither and die.

The United Methodist Church is likely splintering into 3 different segments this year. Pretty inevitable.

Of course they will. When they leave the foundation of why there is a church than what is the point? I do not get the reason why people bother with these Liberal churches. They stand for nothing unique, they are another extension of the world. They worship themselves and there own thoughts and feelings. I would rather sleep in.

And he fulfilled it so his followers wouldn’t have to.
It’s not a hard concept by any means.

It’s simple. Everything that Baby Boomers have touched, they’ve destroyed.

SBC churches seem to be in rough shape these days. Attendance is abysmal in my home town with many churches cutting back from two Sunday morning services to one.
Meanwhile the new age / non denom churches are bursting at the seams.

It's nice to know he has some base to him. Where I come from he's pretty liberal in his own right. This is what you get when you drift toward what appeals to man. He should know.

Can you talk a little more about this? I knew a split was occurring but I didn’t know it might be three ways.
I’m leaving the Episcopal Church for its desire to appease the LGBTQ crowd and remind me that I’m white and racist.
I recently found a Methodist church I like but am still learning about the church in general before I commit to join.

I don't know if it's anything in particular, but among pretty much all protestant denominations there are contingents (often from seminaries and clergy) attacking various theological ideas on the basis that they're the product of "white supremacist Christianity," as well as promoting a lot of socialistic policies under the guise of faith.
In other words, a lot of Christian leaders using Christianity as a vehicle for their political advocacy.
