Anyone play this? Find myself playing this more than CoD. Been playing this SI 2020 Stadium event which is really cool, and just trying to grind out some free levels on this battle pass. Year 5 Season 1 trailer just dropped and it looks awesome. Full reveal this weekend during the event in Montreal.
Operation Void Edge

I have 140 hours in this game and I've still never touched Ranked play. It's one of those games where you could have 200 hours and still be pretty bad. Unranked is fun though because it uses competitive rules such as bans and whatnot and I enjoy it regardless. I've had my fair share of clutch moments.

Siege hasn't left my PS4 since release day. We got us a full squad just through TD.
No other shooter comes close to this.
I main whoever is viable on each map/bomb site.
Attack:
Capitao, Nomad, Buck, Ash
Defense:
Jager, Mozzie, Doc (for the spawn peaks), Maestro

Seriously, do yourself a favor and play ranked. You’ll play with less toxic people, will be able to learn the Game better, has a smaller map pool so easier to learn the maps, and a much higher chance to hook up with a toon running mics.

If you guys are on PS4 I know exactly what I'm missing. I enjoy 144hz 1440p gaming near maxed settings. But yes I will try ranked I guess. Honestly this game reminds me a lot of Rocket League. You could have hundreds of hours on both of these games and still not be 'good.'

But what's your rank and KD with such superior settings? Also, what's it like playing with hackers on a daily basis (if you're higher ranked)?

Well I don't have a K/D since I've never played rank, so only individual operator K/D. My profile is level 67. You'd kick my arse. I'm just giving console players a hard time - has sort of become my shtick around here. I'm not good at it.

Great game!
Recently broke 1.0 KD in ranked. Took 30 hours of ranked to do. I trashed my KD when my former group got me up to lvl 25 to play ranked before I even knew the game. This last month I’m hovering around a 1.2-3 KD and I had my first 1 v 5 clutch. Had a few 1 v 4 and most with attacker ops (superior firepower) but the Ace I had the other night was with a defense operator (Mute).
This game is very rewarding especially if you have a team to play with. My suggestion is same as others in here: play ranked. The game is better, less toxic teammates and more people communicate. Also I know above I spent much of it talking about my KD but don’t be too worried about that. If your gunplay isn’t the best, focus on playing more of a support role and pick intel operators. As long as you’re not dying off every round right from the start (hate it when we’re playing with a random and they die literally in the first 45 seconds of every match) you’re doing something right.

I've had all of the ops for quite some time as initially I had the BS rip-off starter edition I paid $15 for, then got the Complete Year 3 Edition and ultimately bought the Year 4 pass. There are many ops I've still never tried or never tried more than 1 round with.
Ops like Echo and Maestro intimidate me because my style isn't really to sit somewhere in a corner and look at cams/my device. Now don't get my wrong, I will camp a corner but I like to be looking at everything or ADSing, not feeling exposed in any way.
I've seen some damn clever Maestro plays on YouTube and whatnot and would love to pull that shite off. Also, when I play Twitch - the little I have - I fricking suck with that thing and it always gets destroyed. However when I'm against a Twitch I'm losing health and gadgets left and right.
