I was waiting for someone to say this. Dude who said Barkley couldn’t jump has only seen him on TNT broadcast and never seen that freak play for a second. Barkley was a hair under 6’5” and played PF in the NBA. Dude was a freak athlete. The original dream team..he was the most impressive player on the floor including Jordan.

Dennis Rodman is the only player i see who can slow down Zion..

Rodman was about his height (maybe slightly taller) but was 210-220#s. He would give it his all, but there are obvious limitations.
Some will mention his D on Shaq. He played better than expected D vs a young Shaq...but Shaq was still effective. While height has advantages, the lower center of gravity helped Rodman even the weight difference. Zion would not give up that advantage.
Teams with Rodman typically played great D. Bad boys were know for D. The Bulls had Jordan, Harper, Pippen, and Rodman. Even when Rodman matched up with larger foes, he also benefitted from intelligent play from teammates.
Regular season NBA is not playoff NBA. I want to see how teams go about Zion in the playoffs. That will g8ve us a truer read on exactly what he can do at this younger, less skilled age.

But Barkley couldn't jump. I like the Shawn Kemp and Larry Johnson comps better, but there's just not a good comp for Zion.
As some of have pointed out, I shouldn't have said that Barkley couldn't jump. I should have said that he couldn't jump compared to Zion. Kemp had a 40" vert, and Larry Johnson was in the dunk contest, which is why I was saying that they were better comps for Zion.
But I am also content to just take the L for a dumb comment.

Giannis and the Bucks showed a glimpse of what Zion might incur in PO imo : Taken to 2 or even 3 on him.
Zion will need to have a pull-up jumper, a jumpshot globally. He must be better defensively also (defense makes the difference more than attack in PO).
And he must have better teammates of course...

The core around Zion is pretty damn good.
The bench unit could naturally improve as well.(Hayes, NAW,Frank)
