I feel like if they had taken out the majority of the Leo acting stuff it would have made the movie a lot better.

That’s the best part of the movie, IMO.


Leo was fantastic in those scenes

Wtf. The entire 20 minute scene when they were filming the western was one of the best parts of the movie.

That was just another example of QT's unique style. That was the first time i've ever been watching a movie where it felt like you were watching a completely different movie for a bit. I mean it truly felt like you were watching a spaghetti western for 20 minutes. Even cutting to the typical gang members laughing at the bad guys jokes/one liners. All the while you're thinking dang Rick has still got it. Add the before and after scenes with Trudi Fraser and you're really seeing Ricks struggle and accomplishment.
