When and where you used to run a Late Model? I’m wondering if I ever possibly seen you in Mobile or elsewhere...

Hamlin has failed pre-race inspection twice, so a crew member has been sent home and he will have to start at the rear of the field.
The #9, #24 and #88 failed the first go through inspection and will have to go through again. If they fail again, they face the same penalty as Hamlin.

I started racing late models at 14 at BIR in 89. I raced the Southern All Star Series starting in 92 and I ran mostly the All Stars and BIR and Montgomery for the 2-3 years. I started running some ARCA races around that time but I always tried to keep a late model to run whenever I could. I think the last late model race I ran was the World Classic at BIR in 2006, right before they shut it down. I’ve raced at Mobile a few times in All Stars but probably more at Pensacola than Mobile. I had some friends that ran at Mobile regularly, Bubba and Cale Gale. I haven’t seen them in a while.
