What score do you want to see? If it’s 10-9 with 25 hits then our pitching sucks?

Ouch, I don't care if he's a lefty, that is HS stuff.

Your "starters" went 2 for 14 in 3 innings, with 5 walks. So they reached base 7 of 19 times and scored two runs. This is in 3 innings, not 9. THREE.

If we have an OBP of near .500 we will win every one of those games.

The other group was facing Cole Henry.

He's a walk on. I don't think anybody is expecting major contributions from him.

Also, your lefties that are chunking a baseball in the mid 90s are not playing college baseball. They are drafted in the first rounds of the MLB draft.

I wonder if we are seeing some serious consideration being given to putting Doughty back into the lineup at second base.

It seems Gio isn't going to have a massive leash. Hampton hasn't taken advantage of it yet. So maybe Mainieri feels that the upside of Doughty is greater than Gio, and if he has to put one in the lineup he will roll with Doughty. Or maybe he is planning on going more with the Gold lineup against left handers, which they faced almost all scrimmage.

That entire outfield, minus Cabrera, will be an absolute battle all year for a position.

Gio, Hampton, Bianco, Toups, maybe Willis (but he seems to be way behind right now). Then add Dugas to the list if Doughty gets going and is inserted at second base.

Well lsu will likely face a lefty, tommy sommer on openkng night next week. So this is likely the starting lineup vs lefties. Hide gio, insert travinski

That is what was assumed after fall baseball. The spring has painted a different picture though. Now maybe it's looking like Doughty vs lefties and Dugas vs right handers, with Gio moving to the bench against the lefties to keep Dugas in the lineup.

It seems to be more of travinski vs gio. Doughty and dugas in the lineup either way

There is no way Hill is going to be kept out of the weekend rotation for long. That dude seems like he’s pitching pissed off at the world and I like it

How so? Dugas appears to be the only one of that bunch sticking in the lineup. Travinski isn't competing with Gio for a spot, unless it is DH. It seems to be a Doughty vs Gio battle. If Doughty wins, Dugas plays OF. If Gio wins then it becomes a Doughty vs Travinski battle for DH it seems.
