He needed to do that a couple of times in the first half, twice at halftime and a few more times in the second half as well.

I think people assume he crushes them when we lose. I dont think he will here. They know what they did wrong and how to correct it. He is more upset when we play bad and win close games.

All joking aside, I think this humbling loss will light a fire under their arse. How they respond against Auburn will set the tone for the rest of the season.

a BIG man and a true point guard.

Even if they don't play great against auburn and get beat by 15 they could still finish strong, win the sec and get a high tournament seed. It's a long season with a conference tournament after that can change a lot with regards to seeding as well. Teams have runs just like runs within individual games.

It was very evident the strategy was let the team that has an abysmal shooting percentage shoot early in the possession and then beat them in transition.
Vandy became unconscious and then you've got to over-defend the outside shot...leaving driving lanes open.

What was absent was the hustle from the team, but that isn't getting outcoached.

Seems like they continued to do things that weren’t working, specifically the full court pressure and playing zone on the perimeter.
Motto on offense should have been attack the rim. Vandy was overly aggressive and the lane was empty most of the night, even Days had multiple opportunities to drive down the lane.

in some ways it was...
their game plan exploited what has been a weakness all season.

They were 4/18 in 3 pt shooting. They were 1/9 in the 1st half with the 1 make coming right before half. They were in the bonus with over 12 minutes left in the 1st half.

Look this team isn’t winning the conference again this season. Don’t get too excited about our march dancing. We will make the Dance but too many pieces missing on the roster. Next year I would hope for a final four run.
