A guy can score 33 points in a game and that doesn’t prove he played D, had heart, worked hard, was a team player and never coasted.
No one ever said Simmons wasn’t a good player. He never bought in to playing college ball for LSU or showed the desire to lift his team up to a championship no matter what.
