You don't pay $1,000's get a damn grip.

e even get extra press people now next to the student section which is mind numbing.
I understand the $ proposition, but no reason the press people can't be at THE TOP of THE MIDDLE SECTIONS right below the concourse level. Hell, put them at the bottom of the UPPER. The students should be across from the visitor bench where they used to be. a few bucks in seats could be made up in donations.
I agree but that's gonna require removing some seats and building a press area in that section. Not sure how committed they are to that unless there is a full renovation of the arena.

Assuming he has 4 seats behind the bench he’s looking at about $2300.00. More if he’s a section over in legends club

don't think this is right. If memory serves correctly we were on the opposite side of the court.
I think you’re both technically correct. The students were behind where the bench currently is. But at the time, the beach was across the court from where they are.

I pay thousands for my seats behind the Tiger bench.
Thousands? It’s truly perplexing that someone would pay this amount of money to watch basketball.

Well you’re a poor from Louisiana Tech so I can see how that’d be a struggle for you and yours

Hope this is $2,300 per season?

Why do you give a frick how anyone decides to spend their money? Is it hurtful that you can’t afford nice things? And yes, that would be the approximate per season price

The atmosphere went downhill immediately the very year the seats were moved. Now, This also coincided with Dale’s disastrous last handful of years that turned off the gray hairs.
Don’t know what you’re talking about. The student section was on the sidelines til one of Trent Johnson’s last years or Johnny Jones 1st year. Really surprised it took that long for LSU to move it since it was usually empty and LSU was making nothing from it.

Someone call the students and tell them to show up to every game and pack every seat available to them.
Then maybe someone will consider then a serious factor in seat assignments.

The tv camera switched sides. Benches have always been in the same place. Students have never been behind the benches.

Not correct at all. The benches weren't moved across the court. In the Trent Johnson era, the Tiger bench and the visitor bench switched places. I was at LSU during the Dale Brown years and the student section was across the court from the team benches. We didn't dog out the blue hairs. We never noticed it to be a problem. The place was plenty loud. I guess either we were loud enough for the whole fricking place. Or maybe our spirit helped to get the blue hairs going.
One other thing, we weren't stupid enough to allow the opposing players who fouled out to manipulate us into yelling "sit down" when a Tiger was shooting free throws.

What and give up top dollar for those seats...that's not going to happen...students do not support basketball anyway unless it's a really big game
