Damn great performance by our Tigers tonight.

I wish I could say the same for the student section, but in reality they suck big arse.
This might be the quietest, non basketball savvy, student section in the country.
Success has been sustained. After a fantastic overachieving first year, Wade is now 23-2 in the SEC since last season.
What team has been more consistent than LSU in the ENTIRE POWER SIX?? Look at the conference records and tell me!
Yet, the student section has no identity, no knowledge, and NO noise. What’s it gonna take??? I’m starting to think it’ll never happen. Twenty three and two...yet the Brady Ball kids were LEAGUES better. Twenty year olds these days are sub human.

Instead of the free chicken giveaways when LSU hits the goal, maybe they can try free hookers. It should ramp the noise up a few notches.

They may be quite, but at least they show up. I was at the game tonight. Empty seats everywhere else.
Also, the rest of the PMAC is silent as well. Average age has got to be around 55. Looks like an AARP convention.

Even worse, there was no crowd response to the terrible charge calls against LSU.. Cant even get a "reff you suck" chant?.. These freakin apathetic kids gunna be the reason we lose Wade

What student section for any sport is lively anymore. The smartphones killed it. Never going to be a big deal again.

I mean, what is the difference between our lame arse students and Auburn?? They are insane crazy at basketball games.
Saying Lau isn't a basketball school is dumb....because neither is Auburn or Florida but their students turn the frick up.

Bingo. I really believe it’s the worst in the country when it comes to basketball teams with a pulse.
And we LEAD the power 6 in conference record last two seasons. Better than Duke, Kansas, Virginia, Kentucky, you name them. We are better.

The difference is the arena and location of the student section. Watch the Henderson gif. Those are prime seats the students are sitting in.

It's worse bc of the success of the football team. Basketball gets turned up the more the football team sucks. We have to learn to adjust to all the ubiquitous winning.

Auburn wasn’t crazy until they built a new arena with the students being moved to the sideline. Florida has their students on the sideline as well. Look at all of the great atmospheres in CBB and you’ll see that trend

I sometimes think that the rest of the place is so dead that it rubs off on the students. But ultimately, the students are the ones who have to set and keep the tone when it comes to atmosphere. They have to affect the blue hairs. At least they have been showing up though.
It's strange because there was a time when there was no better atmosphere than the PMAC. The team is winning and in 1st place after winning the SEC title now. No excuses now.
