Unless... you are asking how many posters on Tigerdroppings are over 65 years old.
If so, you went a weird way about asking it.

Guys, remember, he said he's old and Burrow autocorrects to Burrows on phones. Give gramps a break.

That's pretty awesome man. Were you old enough during Cannon's years to really appreciate them?
Congrats man and I hope life is going well for you these days.
Yes i was 10 years old in 1958 and certainly old enough to enjoy it to its fullest. I started listening to LSU games in 1957 and saw the '58 team play 4 times. I can tell you where I sat in Tiger Stadium for that first game against Hardin-Simmons.
I was also in Tiger Stadium for the first sellout in Tiger Stadium history. 68,000 for the Ole Miss game.....which the Tigers won 14-0.

I saw Billy Cannon score two touchdowns against Texas Tech in Lubbock in 1957 -- an athletic 59-yard pass reception and run, which included his hurdling the defensive back on the play, and a 97-yard kickoff return up the middle of the field. Not many LSU fans made it to Lubbock that night. I was fortunate to see all of his games in Tiger Stadium and Tulane Stadium in 1958 and 1959. I saw Joe Burrow play in Tiger Stadium, too. But the great thing about the Burrow years were the away games on TV -- especially Georgia, Oklahoma and Clemson to end the season. Other than the Lubbock game, the only away games I saw Cannon play in person were the Tulane game and the two Sugar Bowls against Clemson and Ole Miss. The only televised games of the Cannon era were the Clemson Sugar Bowl, LSU-Rice in the 1959 opener and the Ole Miss Sugar Bowl, which closed out the 1959 season. But I saw those live. Cannon played both ways and was a good blocker, tackler, passer. receiver, punter and place kicker. He had speed and power, but his speed was not utilized enough as a receiver. LSU only threw deep to him twice in 1958 and one resulted in a 63-yard scoring pass against Duke. No deep passes that I recall in 1959. However, I do think Joe Burrow could have played both offense and defense if the rules dictated it. He was a tough runner and took a lot of punishment after he passed the ball. Both were decisive winners of the Heisman. I have to say that I enjoyed the offensive game of 2019 much more than the 1958-59 offense.

PS Jimmy Taylor was in that '57 backfield with Cannon.

I saw Cannon's first game in Tiger Stadium in 1955. I was a freshman at LSU and Istrouma played my high school, St. Aloysius, in the state South Louisiana Championship. Aloysius got the hell beat out of them but Cannon not only ran the ball, he played db with an interception, kicked extra points and punted.
Interesting by note, Istrouma attempted 3 passes, completed 0 and had 2 intercepted.
Istrouma won 33-7.
I saw Cannon play in Tiger Stadium for all 4 years of his matriculation.
I have been in Tiger Stadium for most of Burrow's games the past two years.

I did. I call my grandson 2 times per week to make sure he always knows that story of me. Not many whom can say it in the stadium. Us geezers are just here to tell it like it is!

The '58 team was very appreciated by kids and and adults for what it accomplished, there wasn't as much media then and grown men didn't wear the jerseys of 19 year old boys, but there were songs published about the team, Life magazine gave them a spread, etc.

Layupking: Thank you for sharing....those were great years. If you saw the Tigers play in '57 you had the chance to see another great Tiger.......Jimmy Taylor!

Swamprat. I seem to remember a "Welcome to Death Valley" sign that was on the old press box many years ago...... before the first upper deck was built on the west side. I will try to research....and get a photo.

I kid. That is actually one of the coolest anecdotes that has been shared on this site. The Big Dick Joe hat guy may have a cooler anecdote but I digress.

I got to see Burrow play in person, saw Billy play on TV in the pros. Billy was a football hero of mine. Cannon was the reason I wanted to be a tight end in HS and college. When I was watching him he had moved to TE and was playing for the Raiders. I did get to meet Billy Cannon at my college football banquet in 1978. Made my day!

I saw both Billy and Joe play in Tiger Stadium. I saw Billy play in high school at Istrouma and saw his legendary punt return against Ole Miss and the touchdown pass he threw to beat Clemson in the 1959 Sugar Bowl. Billy was a great player in his era and deserved to win the Heisman. So many fantastic memories and outstanding players watching the Tigers through the years. But Joe Burrow’s performance this year was the greatest I have seen by any player in all my years of watching LSU football.
