Older college grads... did you walk?

I'm 43... been taking classes online from Bama and scheduled to graduate with my bachelor's in business this spring. Inside, I don't want to walk. I hate college. Just ready to be done with it. On the other hand, it would be cool for my 17 year old to see me graduate. I don't really have an attachment to campus or a need to say goodbye.
What say you? Should this middle age guy walk at graduation with the young kids?

I didn't walk at 21. Had better things to do.

Definitely, it's an experience you won't get again. Wear thin undergarments just in case you sit next to a slut.

Graduation is just a way for them to milk more money out of you.

When I graduated, I was 23. Didn’t walk. I still regret it to this day. You should walk!

I walked. One day out of your life. Family and friend really appreciate it. Do it

If you think it would mean a lot to you and your family, I think you should do it. If not, don't force it.

I didn't graduate until my late 20s. I told my mom I wasn't going to walk.
She threatened my life.
I walked.

Yes do it. Show your kids that you set a goal and you accomplished it. Be proud!

Maybe not better, but more important. shite ton of people in suffocating heat, while I could be in Europe with family?
You tell me.

I was working full time in my field already when I graduated - didn't walk, didn't have time nor inclination.
Never regretted it.

Graduated at 23 (1998). Did not walk as I was at training for my first professional job during the ceremony. Don’t know that I would have if I were in town. Wasn’t that big of deal to me (was just glad to be finished).
If it would mean a lot for you as something for your kids, do it! Only costs you a little time.

I didn't walk because I had better things to do. I went jet skiing in Bora Bora instead.

Damn straight I walked. I spent all that time and money working toward that degree, there was no way in hell I was not going to have my name called as I strolled across the stage.

It’s kind of a pain in the arse but do whatever you want.
