What exactly goes into WAR? I've tried looking it up before but I can never find a conclusive way they come up with these numbers. And because of that I have a hard time buying into it

Stop with this nonsense. He had an opportunity for free agency but he passed it up because the Angels offered him a bag of money and he took it. If he prioritized winning, he would have waited to hit free agency.

Most of these players take the money, and I don’t blame them. But it’s also why I never feel sorry for a star player whose team doesn’t win.
