Makes sense, sorta. Although I’m not sure what the official storyline is? Thought with less clutter, he’d be able to quickly find the info here. I guess it doesn’t matter either way, if they find this site, I’m sure they’ll look at more than just this thread - and all the conflicting info.

Have you read through the other thread? It is cluttered with constant bickering and off topic bullshite for 2-3 pages between useful info - followed by 3-4 pages of arguing....rinse repeat. Tiresome to monitor. It took Honkus 3-4 posts initially before anyone even acknowledged him there.

A fresh thread containing news info with only cited sources would probably be most helpful, although I’m not sure the bickering bullshite wouldn’t still flow into there.

I wish a GODDAMN mod would sticky these 2 threads.

let's just hope this thing stays semi contained over the next week to ten days and keep fingers crossed. Heck, forget keeping it contained, I wish they take it a step further and figure out a remedy for it.

yes, we do have a car. our biggest worry is getting there and also our cousin who is driving us to be able to get back home. and being able to get gas... not sure if gas stations are even open

The state department was less than helpful. The lady, who had a heavy Indian accent so I dont even think is american, rushed me off the phone and was basically like take it or leave it, we have a long list of people who want these spots.

She said we could show then the email.. the email.is in English and they refused to provide a mandarin version.

My wife is talking to local government officials and they told her theres a good chance our cousin wont be able to get back.

My wife wont go unless we get that assurance. Ugh

I would print that email or letter in Chinese. You will probably get stopped and need to have a reason to be moving. Or ask for an official letter from the state department to print.

Yea they don’t want the cousin to go to Wuhan and bring the virus back to the city you are at. I understand that.
