The diff between the two guys and how good they make the team is very small amount. They may be a little better or a little worse with russ or chris. Hard to say right now. No one will be able to beat them In the playoffs.

truth serum

If you could rewind, you still trade Paul and all those picks for Westbrook? Assume that Paul and harden can not be pussies about getting along

Harden will pass Chris in all of those. Chris is on the downside of his career. Harden still peaking. Harden will prob end up top 5 at all 3 of those metrics and also points scored.

Can’t count on Chris to be healthy. Picks don’t mean too much to me. Those late firsts aren’t very valuable. Is is very rare to get someone who can help you with one of those picks.

You know that's not a positive thing, that's a negative on Harden's rep, right?
It shouldn’t be a negative on his rep. People are always complaining about “load management” and guys sitting out for any little thing. And here you have a guy who goes out and plays every night and now the MSB wants to act like they hate that. MSB just wants to hate on Harden no matter what. It’s typical and expected.

And by the way, I said personally I wish he’d sit out.

Maybe but we’ll never know. And why do we just pretend like the 2017 loss to the Spurs never happened? That was less than 3 years ago...
You’re acting like the Rockets lost to an inferior team. The Spurs were the 2 seed that year and finished 6 games ahead of the Rockets.

Yes, Harden didn’t play well in that series, but the Spurs were expected to win that series.

I mean it didn’t work because they broke it up. That was just dumb and based on personality not game play. On the court they could have beaten anybody
Chris Paul looked like shite last year all season long and was only getting older.

I like CP3 but Harden carried the team last year.

Ah yes, unable to discern between “load management” and playing through an “injury” while actively hindering the team in the process. They’re all the same, and this is just another conspiracy for people to say mean things about harden.

Never change, rockets fans

You know if a beloved player was playing though an injury the narrative would be how tough he is and that he’s such a gamer because he always wants to play. If it was Kobe people would be praising his mamba mentality. People would be praising him and admiring the old school toughness.

But it’s Harden so the MSB looks at the negative.

I can remember people here always calling AD a pussy for sitting out so much with injuries.

He is not wired like that. Not soft. Even if his shot is not falling he is still helping the team with his passing and the attention he draws from the defense. As well as his own defense. You can’t reduce hardens impact to a shooting %. That is laughable to even try to assert that.

Playing with an injury that's clearly diminishing performance isn't admirable.

Every player plays hurt. Playing injured is selfish.

It’s ironic that you chose Kobe for this example considering how much the mystique around his clutchness and mamba mentality has been debunked recently. But ok fine, show me a 9 game stretch in Kobe’s career where he’s been injured and performed as poorly as harden has on a team that is supposed to be one of the best in the league.

And to be very clear, there is no actual evidence that harden has been injured during that stretch prior to last night. This is another excuse you’ve conjured up for him. But in this hypothetical we’re talking about Kobe being injured while doing this, since you insist that’s what harden is doing.

It’s comical that you continue to act like the msb is the only place where these thoughts about harden exists. The msb most also control multiple major news outlets. That fan that yelled at him about free throws during a game earlier this year must be an msber.

The msb must control the majority of mvp voters too. How else can you explain someone with hardens numbers not winning mvp last year and not being projected to come close to winning this year at the moment?

You’re really bad at comparisons.

Rockets now in tie for 5th, 6 and 7th in wins.

When Porzingas gets back, Rockets are dropping to 6th.

Everyone seems to think thunder are a seller.
You can get Adams soon.
