Now that you've let the madness sink in, what is your biggest takeaway from the game?
But after seeing how Pop played him and assuming he'll get similar treatment from most teams, I'd really like to see him parked right in the post with Lonzo feeding him nonstop.
Every time he touched the ball deep ish, he was met with an auto double team with a 3rd guy lurking. In the 1st half, we had great looks off of that that we just couldn't finish.
I' really like to see more of feeding him in the post as we go along. Seems if they dont' double, I don't know who can really stop/contain him, and teams will likely be forced to double.

The team fed him on the high post a lot last night. Didn’t have enough spacing to do much with it.
San Antonio sold out to cover the paint but we didn’t do too much to make them pay for it.
Favors benefits the most with Zion on the court. He was getting open looks in the paint every time Zion dives to the basket.
Zion had several opportunities to score from the dribble penetration of our guards but the lack of chemistry and Zion’s rust resulted in turnovers.
All in all It was a tough debut to have to go against a team like the Spurs. His athleticism will be overwhelming against Denver tomorrow. Hopefully he’s able to play 5-6 minutes spurts.

We would have been halfway to a triple double if the guys would have knocked down some shots.
He is a much better passer than I realized.
