Has anyone listened to this podcast?

This is a summary of it.

quote:

On February 26, 2014, Christian Andreacchio was found dead in the upstairs bathroom of his apartment from a single gunshot wound to the head. After an investigation lasting less than an hour local police ruled his death a suicide, despite substantial evidence that points to Christian’s death being a homicide.

I am on the 7th episodes. 911 was called by someone who lived with him saying he had committed a suicide. The police was there for 45 mins and ruled it a suicide right away. It goes does a rabbit hole where the police completely fricked up.

The two people who was in his house was the girl he was dating and some dude who was her friend. The police "interviewed" them just by asking them a few questions. It's one of the craziest things I have heard.

If the police would have interrogated the two people, with all the evidence that was found later, it would have been an easy case, but for some reason the police department went out of their way to hide things.

And evidently Meridian is the most dangerous city in Mississippi.

I listened to it. Kind of leaves you hanging at the end. Lots of loose ends and no real closure.

Do you think he was murdered?

It could have been you. Count your blessings.

They were talking about this on Walton and Johnson a couple of months ago. A lady from Meridian called in and gave her take on it. She went into details about something having to do with a bank account and the girl’s family (Apparently big wigs in Lauderdale County)
if I’m remembering correctly. Anyway, it’s starting to sound kind of like a situation similar to one in the S-Town podcast a few years back.

Time spent in Meridian feels like it should be credited towards getting out of Purgatory early.

This is an example why consolidating police departments need to start happening.

For example. Let's take Louisiana for example. You pick any parish. You have the Sheriffs department which covers the whole parish that isn't in city limits, but you have small towns that have their own departments. They have a police chief, they might have 2 or 3 deputies and little resources.

If there is a murder case, they usually need the assistance of the parish or the state, but they are the first ones to arrive and if they want to hide anything, they can easily do so.

The Real Life Real Crime podcast had a few episodes about a case in Alexandria, La in which the Alexandria investigator and police completely screwed up a case. I wonder how often this happens around the country? Murders or missing person cases that are completely fricked up for whatever reason..

He was either murdered, or they found him in the bathroom with the gun to his head and tried to wrestle it away and it went off. The position of his body makes zero sense for a suicide.

His “GF” was a raging whore who slept with some druggie the night before he came home, so who knows.

I came away with 75% suicide 25% murdered. I still have a hard time believing that bitch slept through a suicide. I guess she was all drugged out so it’s possible.

I just don't understand why law enforcement was being so difficult. Them trying to hide everything makes me lean towards murder.

Meridian isn't that bad. It's Tupelo with quite a bit more culture. Northeast MS is the most backwards part of the state and it isn't even close.
