LSU basketball has as good a chance as any to go far this season

Not saying this LSU team is the best one we have seen recently. But college basketball is experiencing a down year at the top of the ladder. Unlike last year with Duke, UVA, Michigan St, etc. I dont see any team who LSU just CANT compete with. The #1 team right now is Baylor who is led by Louisiana natives Jared Butler and Mark Vital. The key for this LSU team will be can Watford, Williams, and Days continue to rebound well against bigger teams and can guards plus Days and Williams hit perimeter shots. Tonight will be a key game and a big test but I think LSU could surprise people this March and make a run to the Elite 8 or better if the team's overall health improves.

On a side note we beat Baylor in an exhibition game before the season, not that it means much, but shows the team can compete with any team this year at least.

If a team catches us when we either shoot the 3 well or we play a consistent defensive game they are gonna be SOOOOOO pissed

I'll have a better a handle on this team after tonight. So far all they've done is beat bottom-feeders in nail-biters.
