I have been impressed all year how he doesn't do the "i'm down" protective slide when forced to run. (all except in the NC game - he did go down easily a couple of times in that one) Dude struggled for every yard.

But this torn cartilage thing brought a whole new level of respect - he is a first round cinch to get big $$$ - yet he kept playing while in obvious pain. At that moment I don't think anyone knew if it was torn cartilage or cracked rib. Either way - must have been painful as hell and the grit play on was impressive. (may well not have been well advised for his financial future - but sure as hell demonstrated his dedication to the mission at hand.)

I will say I hope he slides in the nfl

I don’t wanna see my boy with bad CTE or just ending his career early

But loved his unwillingness to go down in college
