I know he was blowing it up the last 4 games of the season, but could you imagine a whole season like that. It would be a wise decision to stay and see his draft stock rise including his pay.

No he doesn’t. He is a first round pick and will make a lot of money.

Chaisson is gone. Has a first round grade. Can’t really improve on that.

He doesn’t need another year. He could certainly raise his stock but will likely be an early round pick if he wants it now.

Kids blow up at combines too

I agree he will go off at the combine, just really curious what it would be like to see him for a whole season ball out like he has.

Chaisson is ready to go now. Best of luck to the guy. Remember he had a knee injury and missed a year of development. He's fine now and shown what he's capable of. Nothing left to prove and he has all the tangibles.

The smart thing to do is go now. Take the money and run.

Projected first round, he wants to go I wouldn’t disagree with the move.

I happened to run into his grandparents the day after the game, I do believe he is entering the draft.

He has all the measurables and he had a great last half of the season, but he does not have a vast body of work in college being hurt most of last year and for a bit this year and he shared time as a freshman.

He is a physical freak

He’s already missed a whole season with injury, he knows how fast it can taken from you. Go out on top and get the check when the gettin is good

He’s probably a first round pick already.

Great for us if he stays, but it’s a big risk for him. Another injury could cost him millions even if not very serious

Which for an Edge is what the NFL cares about most. College production is second to the physical tools.

Not sure I agree totally with that statement. Nick Bosa had the physical tools but he also had the college experience and tape ditto his brother, same for TJ Watt. Davenport for the Saints, Cam Jordan would argue the same point

I mean do you people read? Difference between 25th pick and the 5th pick is about 20 mill and 15 guaranteed. You dont think there is room for improvement?
All first rd picks are not created equal. KC has legit top 5 talent if he returns with big season.

Picking Nick Bosa drafted at #2 isn’t really the same thing - that dude had both, which is why you make it to the top 5.

Davenport has production, but on a lesser stage. He was seen as a project with all the tools coming in.

Cam Jordan is a better example for the production argument. I’m not saying that productive guys never get drafted up there, but Edge rushers get drafted in physical tools most often.

He also has a history of injuries and another one could easily lower his stock.

Danielle Hunter couldn’t even tell the Minnesota coaching staff what he did at LSU because he admitted they just let him roam around and make plays. Now look at him. It just comes down to each individual case. Chaisson looks like he’s ready for sure.
