Correct.
There's no listed Article 3 powers over an impeachment trial in the senate. Just merely says " chief justice shall preside" and that's it.
Meanwhile it also says, "The Senate shall have the sole Power to try all Impeachments" and it can't get any more clear than that. Power means what it means.
