Predict O’s new salary

Obviously he deserves and will want a raise. He is currently 30th in the country at $4,000,000.
What does he ask for, what do we pay?
Ideally he would take like 5.5 with another incentive laden deal imo, but not sure how realistic that is, so I’m hoping he’ll be happy to nudge Mullen out of the top 10 at around 6.1 mill.
If he tries to get above Kirby to get into top 5 at 6.9 or above, how much does that hurt our available assistant pool?
Will be interesting to see how this plays out
1. Dabo Swinney Clemson $9,315,600
2. Nick Saban Alabama $8,857,000
3. Jim Harbaugh Michigan $7,504,000
4. Jimbo Fisher Texas A&M $7,500,000
5. Kirby Smart Georgia $6,871,600
6. Gus Malzahn Auburn $6,827,589
7. Tom Herman Texas $6,750,000
8. Jeff Brohm Purdue $6,600,000
9. Lincoln Riley Oklahoma $6,384,462
10. Dan Mullen Florida $6,070,000
11. James Franklin Penn State $5,650,000
12. Pat Fitzgerald Northwestern $5,144,937
13. Mike Gundy Oklahoma State $5,125,000
14. Scott Frost Nebraska $5,000,000

That's crazy that Purdue's coach makes 6.6

We don’t have to pay him absurd money to keep him....so why would we? He has great variable clauses that pay him a ton for achieving greatness.

6 even with incentive bonuses

One team, one heartbeat...and a lot more money

Coach O should be at $7,000,000 per year. Show him the love and let him go to work

5.5 million with huge incentives.

Coach O beat 8 of those top 10 this year!
Posted on 1/14/20 at 7:25 pm to Tiger Voodoo
Well he beat pretty much the entire top 10

I would guess he will be around the Kirby Smart and Gus Malzahn range. Meanwhile, if they give him an extension until 2026, that would put him at 65 years old.

Lol and he beat 8 of what’s listed

LSU could pay O $10 million a year, and we’d still have plenty money to pay our assistants.

If Orgeron wants the money, he's gonna get it. All he has to do is threaten to field other offers... 99% chance he wouldn't leave regardless, but are you willing to call his bluff and potentially let a National Champion winning coach walk cause you didn't want to pay him market value?

It's crazy that Scott Frost was given an extension and the large sum of money they've given him.
The people up here are delusional. When he was hired after the undefeated campaign at UCF, all I heard on local radio in Lincoln was how "if we get past Michigan, there's a good chance we run the table and win our division."
Then this past summer, "I can see us going 7-5, but I'm thinking more along the lines of 10-2 or 11-1. Maybe even making the playoff."
The dude is enjoying hunting trips with recruits during December though. It's a life I wouldn't mind having on top of the nice salary.

CEO best 4 of the top 6 this season.

How in the frick did Fitzgerald make that shite happen?!?!..

It’d be crazy if he had the clause that says he would be highest paid coach due to winning the championship.
