The only SEC team they beat worse than others was S Carolina, and that’s a huge rivalry game.

And this matters this year why?
Talking about last year's season, must be a clemson fan

We are by far the best team Clemson has faced in their 25 game winning streak. On the other hand, we have faced this caliber and better four times this season and won. Not to mention Oklahoma. If they beat us they deserve to be champions. We need to beat these guys.

He’s just proving that last year means nothing.

As a Clemson graduate I would say this LSU team is on par with last years Bama. Great offenses and very good defenses. So, I would agree with your assessment. But, to say that Georgia and Florida are the same caliber is just not true. The Georgia team that lost to South Carolina, barely beat ND, and needed the refs to beat A&M. Lest we not forget that famous arrogant team from Gainesville who eked out a late victory over a god awful Miami and needed a missed 35 yard fg by Kentucky at the buzzer to survive. Auburn was a good win because they are unique with their defensive front. But, it was in Baton Rogue and we all know Bo Nix couldn’t throw to an open ocean. A better QB and things may have been different. But, good teams do find a way to win close games. Obviously your win in Tuscaloosa I think is the best win in all of college football this year. To beat them anywhere is hard to do, but to do it on their home turf is fantastic. Also, our streak is at 29 games!! Good luck on Monday evening and hopefully both teams avoid any injuries!!

Talking about ekeing out wins without pointing out Clemson v. UNC is a little much. Florida not stomping Miami means about as much as Clemson barely slipping past UNC. It is pretty frequent that even good teams can struggle in a game they should win easily. Right? I mean Clemson lost to a very mediocre Syracuse not long ago, didn’t they, and ended up pretty well. And if Auburn has a better QB this year, LSU would likely have changed its approach on 4th and goal twice. They knew Auburn couldn’t drive the length of the field and took risks in the red zone they probably don’t take otherwise. Playing the what if game is meaningless, especially if you only change one fact to suit your own ends.

The transitive property is meaningless. That we beat A&M by a larger amount than they did does not affect the outcome of this game it doesn't tell you anything meaningful.
It certainly does erase the narrative that Clemson absolutely destroyed every opponent like no one else has.

Interesting that public money is heavy on LSU and sharp money is on Clemson
