re: Rewatched Bama Clemson last night

Bill Parcells does not agree with your assessment. He picked Lawrence over Burrow on ESPN radio last evening. But I’m sure you know more than he does. Why don’t you have Joe show Trevor his National Championship ring and his National Championship game MVP trophy. Oh, you mean he doesn’t own them! Imagine that!!
Maybe he should just call him the reigning national championship MVP of the defending national champions!!
I feel pretty confident about our future, considering Trevor Lawrence will return next year. Validated by the fact that I just heard Bill Parcells say on ESPN radios football blitz that he would take Trevor over Joe Burrow right now. Let me guess you know more about football than Bill Parcells!! Tell me, how did it feel when we beat you in 2012 in The Georgia Dome?? You guys have more experience with losing than we do!! I’ve never experienced a loss to Troy. That must have really sucked to be an LSU fan that might. It’s been so long since we lost I’ve forgotten what it feels like!! Oh, by the way it’s has absolutely no relevance!
No Clemson did not struggle to beat A&M. Please get your facts straight. A&M led 3-0 on first drive and Clemson scored a TD with 8 minutes to go in the 3rd quarter to make it 24-3. A&M scored a TD with 3 seconds remaining in the game to make the final 24-10. Our d hammered them after the first drive. Yes LSU admittedly hammered A&M much worse then we did. No question. A&M was done after the refs did them in the week earlier versus Georgia in Athens and with LSU with revenge on their minds after the previous years 7OT defeat. Saying Clemson A&M was close would not be factual. That’s a game I remember vividly due to the fact the heat index was like 107!! Even the A&M fans could not believe how hot it was. It wasn’t a 40 point blowout, but it was by no means close!!
As a Clemson graduate I would say this LSU team is on par with last years Bama. Great offenses and very good defenses. So, I would agree with your assessment. But, to say that Georgia and Florida are the same caliber is just not true. The Georgia team that lost to South Carolina, barely beat ND, and needed the refs to beat A&M. Lest we not forget that famous arrogant team from Gainesville who eked out a late victory over a god awful Miami and needed a missed 35 yard fg by Kentucky at the buzzer to survive. Auburn was a good win because they are unique with their defensive front. But, it was in Baton Rogue and we all know Bo Nix couldn’t throw to an open ocean. A better QB and things may have been different. But, good teams do find a way to win close games. Obviously your win in Tuscaloosa I think is the best win in all of college football this year. To beat them anywhere is hard to do, but to do it on their home turf is fantastic. Also, our streak is at 29 games!! Good luck on Monday evening and hopefully both teams avoid any injuries!!
Good luck with that. You now sound like an Alabama fan last year!! You comin but we are waitin and I don’t see you holding the trophy!!
Yes, let’s please keep pounding our chests about that great Georgia victory! Isn’t that the same team that lost to that powerhouse from Columbia, South Carolina, The University of South Carolina. They are a sad excuse for a football program. Let’s not leave out that famous team from Gainesville, Florida who were up 28-21 late third in Baton Rogue. That same Great Florida team who had to hang on to barely beat Miami, have Kentucky miss a 35 yard field goal at the buzzer, and struggle against a Virginia team we pounded by 6TDs. Keep telling yourself how great those wins are and you might start believing it!! Good luck to you on Monday night. CU, back to back in 2020!!!
