I think speed queen changed their design for a year or so, but quickly changed it back. Something to do with the agitator. Best thing is to find an older speed queen or any older top load with mechanical controls. They wash better and just do a better job than the new crap. They won't text you when your load is through or play a melody at the change of each cycle, so there are tradeoffs.

As for a dryer? A dryer's pretty much a dryer. Not alot to screw up on them, design wise. It tumbles, it heats, clothes get dry.

that's what was thinking, washer is good, when it breaks I will spend a fe $ and get a good one again
