Iran flipped. No longer controlled by the DS. Iran apparently okayed the USA killing their lead terrorist. Per agreement Iran fires missiles purposely for no effect. Agreement via back channels. Q post in December said back channels are important!

Agreed. This is the third country I am aware of that capitulated.

Not that I believe it BUT there was lots of inner conflict going on in Iran regarding Soleiimani and his growing power.

Why didn’t they just shoot his plane down when he flew to Iraq, instead of waiting on the Americans? I mean they are used to shooting down passenger jets

I don't remember the date exactly to the q post. December 19 or something close but definitely upper teens.
We killed the general salami, not the Iranians. That is why the airliner he flew was not shot down.
Earth quake in north korea nuclear mountain. Two earth quakes in Iran. Wow how lucky and coincidentall that was.

One theory to chew on is that:
(1) Iran was/is at some level relying upon a sense of skepticism both domestically here at home and internationally about the strength of our justification in killing Soleimani. Iran could operate with some level legitimacy or righteousness with that sense of skepticism being in play.
(2) HOWEVER, our govt could have enlightened the Iranian govt as to the nature and strength of our evidence of Soleimani's past actions and future plans, and if that evidence is/was specific, reliable and convincing enough, then the Iranians could have reassessed the strength of their position. And perhaps relented in the aggressiveness of their original planned objectives....becoming fully aware that this strong evidence could be shared with the world, consequently eroding any existing international or domestic validation possessed by the Iranians prior thereto.
Cliffs: I don't know.

I don’t read the Q stuff, but i don’t think it’s that far off.
>Iran has a rogue General they need to take out and know the US wants him gone too.
>General bombs US embassy which creates the perfect opportunity to give the US the nod.
>Rockets gets shot to nowhere, Iran saves face to their people, US media is back to talking about impeachment with a few days.
Iran didn’t need to “flip” in this similar scenario.

If we really wanted to frick up iran we could have done way more damage than just killing the General
We want Iraq to straighten up and fly right, not destroy them
Seems like a step in the right direction
I think the Ayatollah gave him up

Supreme lead in bed with the DS.
General Salami is the enforcer.
Gen. Salami might be getting the big head, like our cia.
Start the Supreme leader to thinking he cant control him much longer.
Feels threatened.
Sanctions once again pushing country to uprising.
Terrorist Obama not there to bail him out.
DS falling apart, can't help much, neutered.
Plan with Trump devised.
Trump says regime change not the goal.
Seems strange that has always been the good guys goal.
Per plan general salami and some henchmen taken out.
Face saving rocket attack occurs as planned.
You don't fire 22 ballistic missals and not kill people unless you didn't want to kill people.

If this wasn't the plan then why are senators talking like everything is defused? Reset
