You had a lot more experience on the dline last year. I'm not talking about talent. But that extra year or two of development in the weight room makes a huge difference for dlinemen. So, you probably won't have a lot of success in getting to the qb if you try rushing 4 or 3.
And, Burreaux is much better than Tua at post snap reads, so you blitz at your own peril.
And, we have so many nfl caliber players in the backfield and on the perimeter that we can't get them all on the field at one time in any combination. That plus Joe's accuracy and pocket awareness coupled with the best oline in the country means you're not likely to get coverage sacks either.
And Joe is the most accurate passer in ncaa history, so when a receiver gets open, he's going to hit them on the money.
As for the difference in ppg between last year's bama and this year's Lsu, there have been way too many games that were over by halftime for that stat to mean anythimg other than both teams scored a ton of points.
