Saban was given complete, full control by the Dolphin's owner, to the extent he locked the doors to the Fin's brand new, multi million dollar media center, on his first day, to control the media's access. He wad detested by the Miami media & that was an ongoing battle till the day he left. He can control the local bama media. A pro team's media would chew him up.

Saban is not made for the NFL. His micro managing and a-holeness wont work in the league. It works on college kids. NFL players would mutiny.

That wasn't the question. He would still command a crapload of money.

Kliff fricking Kingsbury got a job and he got fired from Texas Tech.

Not much

He’s getting old and his best days are behind him. That door has closed

Atlanta has nothing to do with it.

Atlanta is the one job he might take. Great owner. Still close to the lake house. He might actually sell Miss Terry on that move because of proximity. He'd have a QB and weapons on offense he didn't have before. Could take 5 years to try to win a super bowl.

He's the same age as Pete Carroll.

Saban isn't going that route. He wasn't going that route 10 years ago. He's had MULTIPLE opportunities to go and didn't. Bama can't pay basketball and baseball coaches whatever but they will pay the football coach whatever it takes and that includes matching any NFL offer.

Biggest thing is, Saban found a home in Alabama. Miss Terri said it reminds him of west va. He has business interests, his kids are married to alabamians and he moved his mom here. He is at a place that can compete for a national title every year and he has complete control. Bama nation loves him and the school supports his every move along with a school that will pay him whatever he wants. He's coaching at the bluest of bluebloods. Texas couldn't get him. The giants couldn't get him. The browns couldn't. Jerry Jones overtures were ignored. He has all his injured players coming back next year. He has Bryce young coming in. Folks need to give up on this.

He is also pushing 70. I doubt he would want to leave what he has to go to a much more competitively intense environment.
