re: Clemson's D is suspect at best vs good offenses

Dude we’ve played defenses all year that are just as good as you guys are. What makes you believe that the almighty Clemson D is going to stop us when no one has all year? These are some very good defenses that we’ve played. Auburn, Alabama, TA&M, Georgia, Florida and Oklahoma was supposed to have a decent defense by the time we faced them (which we saw straight through BTW). We see straight through you guys also.

Yes Clemson has a great defense and team. There’s no doubt about that. Here’s the deal though, these top 10 defenses all threw different things at LSU including running defenses with personnel that they haven’t used all season simply because they could clearly see on tape that this offense is extremely dangerous to deal with using typical LBs and safeties.

Our Defense has also played some good offenses in Ole Miss, Florida and Texas. Some great offenses in Oklahoma and Bama. Texas was a different team when LSU played them at their place. They were also extremely confident until LSU played them. Ole Miss caught us off guard with their QB runs plus that score was 28-0 at one point and 35-7 at another.

The main reason that our defense gave up so many points and yards was because they knew that they had plenty of points on the scoreboard to take plays off. Since the Ole Miss game though the defense felt disrespected and have since turned things around and now are playing as a top 5 defense. It really doesn’t matter what happened at the start of the season or the middle. The fact of the matter is that LSU is now playing great on defense and this offense is one of the best in the history of college football. We’ve broken records that are not easy to break against some really good defenses and DC’s.

I think Clemson will be tough to stop on offense because the offense is legitimately strong but I’m not sure if even the All American defense could stop this offense, maybe slow it but not stop it. You guys will find out that this is a very unique offense because it is. No one else runs this type of offense or at least I haven’t seen it. We also happen to have players who run it extremely effectively, especially the QB.

Unless LSU turns the ball over several times and or Clemson can sack Burrow on 3rd downs because just sacking him on first and second down means nothing, then this offense will score 38 to 45 points or more imo. That’s not wishful thinking at all. But even though our defense is playing so well at this time, I think it’s just as possible that Clemson can score with us.
