You are correct. The people saying that everything should be public and unredacted don't understand what they are asking for. The classification levels of information are based on the potential damage that could be caused if said information got out or into the wrong hands. The higher the classification, the greater the potential damage.

There was so much dumb in that reporting, I almost fell dumber for reading it. Half the shite she reported justifies what we did, the other half was bullshite.
I especially laughed at the parts where she says planning is chaotic because we didn't know where he was...........yeah that's how these things work, we found him and killed him, that doesn't mean things were chaotic. And it was to distract from impeachment? That happened last month, you know, before the embassy was attacked.

If an administration leader claimed that Intel is reporting that Martians are invading the US would it really be considered "leaking" to say that isn't what the Intel says?
