I sort of disagree. Perhaps on the first couple series Clemson not so much. But when they get to see it develop and they have no idea who's where, I think the doubt will start to set in.

As far as nervous, I think you are spot on. I'm making a distinction between intimidated and nervous; to me they are vastly different things.

For some, being nervous disappears on the first play of live action. Others first hit, first catch, or first throw.

My worry is 'tight'. Which is being nervous to the point where training and/or muscle memory can't take over. At some point auto-thinking or simply reaction has to take over the conscious mind. Until that kicks in, they will over-think and the actions/reactions will have a less than natural flavor.
