That's what some people don't understand. You always have to put new wrinkles in your scheme. So much time is devoted to studying opposing teams schemes, that if you don't make any changes, it will essentially become stale and teams will start to stop it.

It would be quite detrimental if he left. Yes E carries a lot of the load but he can't just steal Brady's playbook and keep up this rate of success. Maybe in the short term but we would need another Brady type hire to go with E to keep the offense updated and fresh. Maybe we find one as good or better than Brady. Maybe we don't. I don't want to find out anytime soon though.

I agree with you. And like I said, I think Brady has been fantastic and deserves all the good things coming to him. But I still think people over estimate his impact and under estimate the other things I mentioned.

In a perfect world, we get Brady and E back for the next ten years as co-offensive coordinators, and Burrow keeps getting granted extra years of eligibility. I can drink to that.

Not to mention how much film Brady watches which in turn helps E game call even better. Football IQ and reading/dissecting defenses at that level isn't found in a lot of coaches or assistants. Brady will be a great coach in time, I think. Would like to keep that lighting in the lsu bottle for as long as possible.

No motherfricker. You guys didn't know shite about joe brady. Go look at my thread last year when i said this offense was going to BLOW UP.. now look who's eating crow. I said this guy was a homerun hire. Everyone said we were going back to ground and pound Les miles days.

You started two threads today about the same "insider info" crap.

might have been true at the time, but he got recruited to coach in the NFL with Cam has his QB...

I was hoping he would stay but I guess I shouldn't be surprised...

The HC is taking a chance since Brady has never been OC, but sometimes that's what it takes.

I don't think E is retiring so Brady wasn't even going to be promoted to OC here...he was just get a bunch of money...the guy wants to advance
