LSU has won 4
1908 - perfect 10–0 record, outscoring opponents 442 to 11.
The Tigers have been recognized as a co-national champion by the National Championship Foundation, and the NCAA recognizes LSU as national champion for that season along with Penn.

LSU was awarded the number one ranking by the AP & Coaches’ polls prior to the Sugar Bowl win against Clemson. Therefore, it was not a factor in the 1958 “Championship”. Learn your LSU Football history, toad.

Hilariously this is also a 2003, 2007, 2011 cycle year with an off year in 2015. Also again in New Orleans. It’s bizarre really.

Since the National Championship format was changed in 2003 to BCS and later to CFP, the Championship Game has been played in New Orleans 4 times. LSU will have appeared in 100% of those games. Let that sink in....
