I think this game has a similar feel to the Texas game

Downvote away, but i think it will be a back and forth game. OU is one of those teams that hangs around and if tough to blow out, so I think this will be a 1 possession game with less than 10 minutes left.
I think Burrow puts it away or we get a late FG to win by 8-10.

LSU defense is playing better right now, plus Texas QB can throw it better. Not really that worried about Hurts’ arm to be honest. This game won’t be close.

They are a good team and we are coming off of a big break so it remains to be seen if we’ve lost some of that mojo that we had all season. This is kind of the start of a new season.
I think we’ll be fine and likely win comfortably because Burrow is on a mission and leading the way, but a good competitive game certainly wouldn’t surprise me.

I think ole miss was a gut check for this defense and they’ve responded accordingly. Also, lots of reps have been had for guys like stingley and flott since the Texas game. Hampton being able to come in and do his job. This defense has grown up and I think they play well today. Joe gonna Joe on offense. 17+ point game favoring the Tigers.

Nope. Right now LSU has the same confidence and swagger that Bama has had the last few years. The Sooners have lost as soon as they step off the bus. We blow them out.

If burrow really doesn't have the flu and is his normal self then this game with be over at halftime. Might be over sooner that that if CEH plays.

No I agree 100%. This game has a Texas LSU feel to it for sure. I'm thinking it'll be a high scoring game, but one where LSU gets the lead and holds it through most of the game. The scoreboard may be closer than the game actually is, with LSU feeling like they're in control for most of the game.

LSU was largely an unknown team seeking an identity at the Texas game. The team now is battle-tested and clearly superior to OU team so OU is just another one on the LSU's road to the natty.
