Do you realize how much chest and confidence Burrow had to graduate transfer to LSU to play QB given the previous 10 years of offensive production at LSU.

Burrow be like "yeah I can win us a Natty with all that talent"

If you believe and take care of your business, anything is possible. Geaux tigahs

It's funny how our fandom let's one kid going to another school mean he has no chest while meaning he does have the chest for another.

It was clearly a business decision. One of the better one's in my lifetime. Burrow saw Justin McMillan and 2 true freshmen, Lowell Narcisse and Myles Brennan and pulled the trigger.
Give O credit for convincing Burrow that LSU would change its offense. But O also knew his seat was about to get scorching hot, if he didnt convince him. Vegas had LSU winning just 6-7 games last year.

This should be a movie.

The alternative was toiling in anonymity in Cincinnati.

He knew there was talent here and had supreme confidence in himself that he could be a difference-maker.

Do you also applaud LSU guys that transfer or do you say they lack “chest?”

exactly. This board is filled with hypocrites. Guys that transfer out are disloyal and scared to compete, but guys that transfer in are golden.

That's awesome isn't it. To come in and dominate all season and dominate vs Oklahoma.

He could have very well went to Cincy and had a damn good 2 years. But, he wouldn't have been surrounded with as much talent. Without as much talent around him, he wouldn't have progressed to where he is today. Great on Joe and his family to understand that. Then again, I don't think anyone could have definitively projected this. Our staff did a great job of selling him and his family on LSU. All of the stars aligned, and I'm forever grateful for that.
