Finish like this and save one for later? (p.s. - probably need Frank Wilson on staff with recruiting privileges sooner rather than later):

Feb2020 NSD:

(1) RB Ashaad Clayton and (2) Center SVP, (3) DL McKinley Jackson,
(4) one of S Avantae Williams or and Kauffman (5) one of OL Ty Crawford or CamRon Jackson, and save one spot for late spring transfer or 2021 class back count on next year EE.

If you're just going to clean up all the in state kids still out there you might as well take Edgerrin Cooper too, since other than Van Pran he's probably the best available player in the state.

I wouldn't sleep on the Johnathan Horton kid from Scotlandville either, since we like tall pass rushers we can put weight on.

Ideally, here’s what I like that I feel is realistic:
1. Cam Jackson
2. Kaufman/Williams (depends on what staff likes better, probably more coming out on safeties in the coming weeks)
3. Crawford
4. M. Jackson (iffy on this pick but we’ve been picking up momentum the last week weeks. It’s going to come down to the wire)
5. Evans/Gibbs/Clayton? (If we get Clayton I can see that convincing SVP. We’ll see, I like Clayton)
6. SVP or save the spot

Why is everyone counting out Lorando Johnson? He is a good player in a position of need.

All of our transfer restrictions come off in late spring, and if there is quality available, it would be an option. Plus, as an example, Joe Burrow was a notable late spring transfer addition, after he lost the starting job to Haskins at OSU after spring practice. Who knows now, but there may be a diamond in the rough come available?

Didn't think before about Burrow, but that would be a good example on saving at least one for transfer, unless we have a compelling option now..., I was just thinking Bama has overloaded before by back counting.

We can't take a grad transfer this year because Terrence Alexander left school without finishing his classes.

Unless we take people completely off the radar I don’t see us filling up. Hope we don’t just take people just to fill up.

Which limitation expires late spring, that is why the reference above mentions late spring transfers...

great list, especially the Jacksons and the safety prospects!
just going to drop a couple name of solid prospects that didn't sign yet:
Jay Hardy LINK / has an offer, but has not taken an ov to LSU yet (only used 3 of his 5).
Alfred Collins LINK / has an offer from LSU, but has used all 5 ov according to 247.
*i have no inside info and do not subscribe to pay sites, but think there will be some off the radar guys in Feb.

it's 100% about the LOS. fight like Hell to get re-commitments from Burch & McKinnley then all out for Van Pran & Ty'kiest. Keep CamRon

1) Camron Jackson
2) RB: Clayton
3) OL: SVP
4) LB: Cooper
5) S: Kauffman
6) DL: M Jackson or Burch (long shot of course)

I like some local guys who excelled in the playoffs ;-)
